You can volunteer as a clinic escort at our Cherry Hill, Hartford or Philadelphia locations! Escorts make up a team of indispensable volunteers whose role is to welcome patients and guests to our Center and make parking and entry swift. Oftentimes escorts are the first smiling faces our patients encounter – especially when sidewalk bullies and protesters are present. At some locations, experienced volunteers are invited to provide direct service to patients and guests by answering questions, uniting loved ones with patients in recovery and aiding in the overall comfort during an appointment at The Women’s Centers. Experienced volunteers can also assist in providing practical support for patients, such as facilitating transportation or lodging.
