Respect and Care

Fetal Anomaly Services

Abortion remains legal in GA, CT, NJ, and PA and immediate appointments are available with The Women’s Centers. Please call us for logistical, financial, and scheduling coordination, offered 7 days a week.

Every pregnancy is unique, and there are many reasons why a person might need abortion care. Some patients receive new information that changes the course of their pregnancy. This may include a disruptive event in their life or discovery of a threat to the health of the patient or a fetal diagnosis. Please feel confident in our ability to provide you with wholistic care.
When scheduling your appointment please feel free to let us know about any special needs you may have and let us know how we can help you to feel supported in your decision. Not all services are available at all sites, and most services require prior arrangements, so please allow us extra time to help you in advance.
Some of our sites offer specialized services that include the following:

Our hope is that we are able to effectively support you throughout your care at Cherry Hill Women’s Center and provide you with the resources you need as you and your family move forward through this difficult time. The Women’s Centers is open and supportive of the diverse spiritual and cultural needs our patients may request.

Some patients find it helpful to have a keepsake, such as footprints or a copy of the ultrasound, as a token of remembrance.  Patient requests for footprints, ultrasound photos or other keepsakes can generally be honored.

Some patients feel that it is helpful to have a concrete way to grieve their loss, and choose cremation or burial.  Our staff can facilitate this process with a funeral home to ensure that your wishes are respected and honored. An alternative or additional option is a private viewing by the patient and their support person of the remains within our facility.

In conjunction with an off-site laboratory, our centers can arrange for chromosomal analysis, microarray or other tests at physician request.

Patients can expect a professional staff that is committed to compassionate care. In many cases, a senior staff member is available by mobile phone 24-hours a day to facilitate appointment scheduling and pre-operative communications between the Center and referring physicians. Patients will receive appropriate and sensitive explanations of their care plan.
